About Ross Hobart

With over 15 years of experience in education, I first trained as a teacher in London and worked with children aged 3 - 11.

Wishing to focus on supporting children with special educational needs, I completed a master's degree in speech and language therapy and became the clinical lead in a specialist language provision for children aged 11 - 16. During this time, I developed my specialism in Developmental Language Disorder, while also developing a strong knowledge and understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder and Social, Emotional, Mental Health difficulties.

Seeking a change of lifestyle, I moved from London to Lisbon in 2020 where I continue to work in education and enjoy long walks along the Atlantic ocean with my two rescue dogs.

I am a member of the UK's Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCLST) and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (registration number SL33955).
